Insurance Options: Choose the Right Cover for Your Journey
We offer three levels of insurance cover to ensure peace of mind while you’re on the road:
1. Standard Cover (Highest Liability) – R0 per day

This is our basic insurance option that is included in your daily rental rate and carries the highest liability in case of damage, theft, or third-party accidents.

A pre-authorized security deposit of R18,000 will be placed on your credit card at the time of vehicle collection.

Covers damages but excludes windscreens, tyres, and rims.

If no damages or claims are made, the deposit is released within 21-30 working days after vehicle return.
2. Loss Liability Reduction 1 (LLR1) – R275 per day

Reduces your liability in the event of an accident or damage.

Includes replacement or repair of 1 windscreen, 1 rim, and 1 tyre (up to 50% of the used tyre price).

Requires a lower security deposit of R10,000.

If all rental conditions are met, the deposit is fully refunded within 21-30 working days.
3. Loss Liability Reduction 2 (LLR2) – R440 per day

This comprehensive no-liability cover gives you maximum protection for both vehicle and third-party damages.

Includes multiple windscreen, tyre, and rim replacements, as well as radio theft and recovery costs.

Covers up to 2 tyres for rentals up to 14 days and 4 tyres for rentals 15+ days.

A security deposit of R5,500 is required at pickup but will be fully refunded within 21-30 working days if no damage or loss occurs.
Security Deposit: What You Need to Know
When collecting your vehicle, a security deposit is required as a pre-authorization on your credit card. This deposit acts as a holding amount, ensuring that the vehicle is returned in good condition.
